NOTES: Scalar VS vector

SCALAR:
a. A quantity, such as mass, length, or speed, that is completely specified by its magnitude and has no direction. b. Mathematics A number, numerical quantity, or element in a field. volume, time, speed, density, temperature.

Speed – magnitude of velocity, velocity is a vector – a scalar is JUST a value!!!!

so let's compare it to a

VECTOR: a quantity possessing both magnitude and direction, represented by an arrow the direction of which indicates the direction of the quantity and the length of which is proportional to the magnitude.

force (F) – vector – best example is a push and pull of a body – a scalar that gets a direction!!!
